The same day as our flooring appointment, we signed with HiLine. We had done most of the preliminary work at this point, so it did not take very long.
We added three skylights, can lights in the kitchen, grided windows in the front and an extra door into the garage for our mudroom. I drew in the shutters and flower boxes for my own design afterwards.
The sky lights are neat. One 2x6 skylights looks like the below picture.
Be aware that it takes 4-6 weeks to get the final plans!!!
I can't stress that enough for your timeline.
It is another one of those things frustrating to find out late in the game. Ask me how I know...
Anyhow, we are excited. Only the closing of the land is left and then we will break ground.
