Windows, Doors, and Fire Sprinkler

The window installer was actually on site February 2nd, when the septic tank was being installed. To my surprise, I came back later in the day and there were no windows installed....that continued until the end of the next week! That was the second contractor delay. The first was the plumber. I was inside the house cleaning up dirt and sand so the windows were unfortunately open, but you get the idea. In front you see the siding delivery...that is our third delay....perhaps you can tell we are frustrated at this point. We are now a month delayed...that is IF and ONLY if, the rest goes perfectly smooth, which it probably won't since there is apparently also an insulation shortage. Considering my due date is at the end of May, I will not be very happy being forced to move in early May.

Below are my bay windows. Behind you see the yard mess. This is to be expected as the final grading has not taken place yet. However, there is another hidden cost we get to fork out here. We likely have to bring in quite a bit of fill to fix the massive drop we have there. Hopefully no Geo tech will be required to come back (hello $800) to clear it. This makes all the delays all the more infuriating considering that every week the house just sits, costs us money. The loan payments are not exactly low at the end either...

This is the sprinkler system we had to hire out for to have put in to meet fire code. It is not 100% complete yet.

Here is a promised picture of the rough in plumbing that was done before. You can see the house is pretty dry at this point and we have been on top of cleaning.
