I am playing catch-up on my blog. We finally closed on our current home yesterday (yay!), so we have been quite busy dealing with that. I did take notes in my planner though, as far as when what was done.
The electrician finished 02/27 and the electrical inspection took place 03/02. This is the same day that the foam seal was done inside the house around all the piping.
Our excavator came out 03/04 to dig the trench for the permanent electricity. 03/05 our electric company disconnected our power. That same day or the next, our private electrician came out and ran the permanent power in the trench and connected it. L&I was very delayed (normally by law 48hrs....) and did not inspect until Monday 03/12. We couldn't get our excavator out in time, so we ended up covering the lines with dirt ourselves since that is the requirement. Our electric company was supposed to power it all on that evening, however they did not.....Apparently they never got the order, so they came out the following evening. Our excavator came out later that week and actually buried the trench properly so people could walk through our front door.
We got a surprise garage floor slab poured 03/01.
