Final Paint Color Decision

Our painter will be out next week, so we had to make our final choices. With a new construction, it is kind of like fishing in the dark. There are no light fixtures, cabinets, trim, or flooring to see paint colors accurately. I did make a trip to the HiLine office to hold the colors next to our cabinet choice.

Final design choices:

Exterior house paint - SW Light French Gray siding with SW Bright White, black shutters and brown window boxes. Sorry for the bad picture, but this was my inspiration.

Interior Paint - Bathrooms, laundry room and garage will be SW Sea Salt. All other rooms will be SW Agreeable Gray. All ceilings will be SW Bright White.

Our cabinets are a medium brown and are the same in the kitchen and bathrooms. The granite is throughout and will be Giallo Ornamental.

We did go with the most recent flooring choice I posted about, BUT we ended up doing no carpet and hardwood throughout. Carpet would be a separate install towards the end and we are crunching for time. Plus, the stomach bug and carpet >.<

Back splash is white subway tile with white grout in the kitchen and bathrooms.

NOTE as of 04/11 Check with your painter and clarify ceilings! For us, painting ceilings white means they are considered accent ceilings. That adds A LOT to our initial bid....hopefully one coat will do!
