This week the first part of our lumbar was delivered and the framing started. I like that HiLine had the lumbar delivered in parts. That ensures all the wood is not sitting out in the rain and is used within a couple days. We were actually able to meet the framer on site. I have to say again, these contractors were efficient and clean. On Monday the framers will finish and order the inspection from the county and they are anticipating having much of it done by Friday. Next will be the wall framing and roof framing.
We went out to the site today to take some pictures. We are pretty happy with everything, minus the back left corner where it drops. Our excavator has assured us that he still has quite a bit of work to do and it will look much different at the end, but the slope won't be completely avoidable. We are debating putting a detached children's deck with a playhouse and slides or perhaps even attach it to the main deck. There will also be goats and chicken, so stables and fencing may work there too. We will figure something out.

You can see quite a bit has been cleared, including the ugly Madrona, to my delight! :D
