It is finally looking like a house!!!
Turns out we will need to install a mid-level deck. Initially, we thought a deck might be a fun addition in the future, but the drop made it a necessity. We have been busy getting quotes in for fencing, decking and interior painting. Fun stuff! Be aware to get LOTS of quotes. On almost every part so far, we have had some people give us quotes DOUBLE of others. I am not sure how they justify it since most of them are not even reputable by anyone. The general recommendation is three quotes. The first three quotes we got for our septic system were 12k, 9k, and 10k. The next four were at half or a third of the first three (by reputable people/companies). Definitely worth the extra work!
Framing should be done this week and roof trusses are set to be installed next Wednesday. Shingles follow the first week of the new year. Super fast!
