Something new we learned along the way and wish we would have been told ahead of time:
Water Availability!
We have to have this certificate in order to draw up our septic design and at some point provide to the bank during the appraisal. Would have been nice to know! We did not think we needed this since there is a shared well we will be able to hook up to. The well is managed by our local electric company whom issues this certificate. It takes a whole week to receive back in the mail and a nice $105...crunch time!
